Where will The SunWalk Newcastle 2008 be taking place?
The event will be held in Exhibition Park, Newcastle. A map of the location can be found here
Is there parking near to the event site?
There is no parking by Exhibition Park however City Centre Car parks have a £1.00 all day charge on Sundays. Visit this link to find a full list of Car Parks, maps and directions.
What is my 'Walker Pack' and when will I get it?
Your Walker Pack, contains all the essential items you need for the challenge, including: your bra, your T shirt, cap, walker number, luggage label and Final Information booklet (with details on the route, where to go and what time you need to be there)
All Walker Packs have now been sent out.
Update - If you have not received your pack then you can pick up a spare on on the day - just visit the Help Desk
What is my 'Welcome Pack' and when will I get it?
Your Welcome Pack contains your Training Guide, sponsor form, a booklet on walking safely and also a press release that you can use to get publicity with your local newspaper.

What is the route for this years challenge?
Unfortunatley due to health and safety, we are unable to publicise where the route will be. This information will be available in your Walker Pack.
Do I have to wear a bra?
Wearing a bra to take on a challenge is the Walk the Walk trademark and one of the reasons we manage to raise so much awareness and money for our vital causes. We all know how much courage it can take to go out onto the streets wearing a bra but we can promise you that within a few minutes of being in the company of so many thousands of others it will feel like the most normal thing to be doing. If you feel self-conscious then read on!
But what about my wobbly bits?!
Firstly, you won’t be alone – one thing we can guarantee is that every age, shape and size will be at the MoonWalk! There are many clever ways to decorate your bra which will give you more confidence on the night. If you are worried about your tummy why not add tassels or strips of fabric as fringing. They can look like drifting seaweed if you have a maritime theme, or fiery fronds if you are feeling a little devilish! Chiffon gently draped or a carefully placed feather boa can detract from the larger bosom, and at the opposite end of the spectrum large flowers can create the illusion of having more up top! Just let your creative juices run wild.
