For sponsor money you are sending in by post, please include a note with the FIRST NAMES, SURNAMES, AND POSTCODES (walker numbers as well, if you have them!) of your team mates who need to be "credited" with that sponsor money along with yourself.
For sponsor money raised online, please ensure that your fundraising page has listed on it the first names AND SURNAMES (and walker numbers as well, preferably (following in brackets)) of all your team mates who need to be "credited" with the sponsor money raised on that page. Most of your fundraising pages do include your friends' names, but often it's just first names, which unfortunately makes it difficult for us to work out who the money needs to be "credited" to. On Justgiving, you can list the details under "Team Members", and on Bmycharity you can do it in the main text of your fundraising page. The person who set up the page is able to login and change the details, for example to add surnames (and walker numbers). (If you are the person who set up the page and don't know how to do this, please contact Justgiving (e-mail help@justgiving.net) or Bmycharity (e-mail help@bmycharity.com), depending on which one you're using, and they will be able to help you)
Check the Postage!
Please ensure that you put the correct postage on the envelope that you send your sponsor money in. We’re paying around £5 per week in excess postage – that’s around £260 per year! If you use the A5 envelope we supplied you can put in around 8 sponsor forms and 27 cheques and stay under 100g which would cost 36p first class (27p second class).
Putting more than 100g in an A5 envelope starts at 78p (66p) or simply using an A4 envelope starts at 52p (42p).Prices increase the heavier the letter.
