We welcome cheques as long as...
The payee is one of the following:

They are in date - cheques have to be less than 6
months old when we bank them.
The words and figures agree
It is signed.
I am sending in a Charity Voucher (CAF or CV)...
...what do I need to do?
The rules fo accepting charity vouchers are quite strict
The payee MUST be one of the following:
Walk the Walk Worldwide
Breakthrough
Penny Brohn Cancer Care
They must be in date – they are valid for 6
months only.
They must be signed - unless it is for £10 or less, then it doesn’t have to be signed.
Sponsor Money Raised by a Team or Group for 2008 Events.
Please let us know the FIRST NAMES, SURNAMES AND POSTCODES (Walker Numbers too if possible!) of your team mates who need to be “credited” with the monies you send in. Just include a note with your sponsor money!
If you raised money online and are the “page owner” please email info@walkthewalk.org with the details, as above, of your team mates, making the subject “Online Fundraising Team Details”. Most of you do include your friends’ names on your pages, but often it’s just a first name and it’s not always easy to work out who the person is. If you’ve already emailed this information you don’t need to send it again!
Tips on postage
Check the Postage!
Please ensure that you put the correct postage on the envelope that you send your sponsor money in. We’re paying around £5 per week in excess postage – that’s around £260 per year! If you use the A5 envelope we supplied you can put in around 8 sponsor forms and 27 cheques and stay under 100g which would cost 36p first class (27p second class).
Putting more than 100g in an A5 envelope starts at 78p (66p) or simply using an A4 envelope starts at 52p (42p).Prices increase the heavier the letter.
