We could not have done it without you – young and not so young, experienced WTW volunteers and first timers – you all made a real difference and helped to make a great success of the event. Many of you arrived undeterred in torrential rain and like us had faith that the sun would shine – AND IT DID! No one appeared to mind having wet, muddy feet, soggy paperwork or being encased in plastic capes!
Well done one and all - we are so grateful for all the hard work on the route, on foot, in cars, on bikes and on site be it cleaning, selling, ‘baggaging’ or giving out various ‘goodies’. And many of you did both! We do hope that you had a good time and enjoyed your SunWalk experience!
" What a fantastic time I had on Sunday at the SunWalk, this was my first time as a volunteer and what a worthwhile job it is. It was wonderful to take part in such an amazing event and I can’t wait to volunteer for other events you have coming up. The atmosphere was brilliant – it was a privilege to be part of it. Thank you. " Bernice
" Just a note.....to congratulate you on such a fabulous day on Sunday. You are amazing at looking after us all so beautifully Amy. I loved being in Phil's team - please tell him. Thank you all at Walk the Walk for all you are doing to raise money in such an inspired way to fight cancer. " Tricia

" Hi all I would just like to thank everyone for a brilliant day in Bristol on Sunday. I was a volunteer and enjoyed every minute of it and can't wait for Newcastle. The best bit of the day has got to be walking in with the last walkers, i was helping out in zone 10 (11 miles) and as the last walkers went by I was asked if I needed picking up in a car, I didn't need to think about my reply, I picked up my stuff and joined the little group making their way to the finishing line it was very emotional for me to watch them cross the line with everyone clapping them. Just to see that made the weekend of travelling down and back in all worth while. Once again many many thanks " Angela
