The SunWalk Newcastle
Update 6th September 4pm:
The SunWalk Newcastle has been cancelled...but... We will be back!
The first SunWalk in Newcastle has had to be cancelled due to the terrible weather conditions that look to persist over the weekend. Earlier on Saturday many areas of the planned routes have been flooded by rivers and lakes bursting their banks, and The SunWalk site itself is in danger of flooding. For the safety of all those taking part we have had to make this very difficult decision of canceling this special day.
This is the first time in 11 years that we have had to take such action, but we are not deterred, mother nature may have won this day but in the coming weeks we will be meeting with Newcastle Council to discuss re-scheduling the event. All your entries will be honored and as soon as we have any details we will let you know.
In the meantime put your sponsors on hold...and just keep walking and uniting with us against breast cancer.... you can be sure WE WILL BE BACK!.

Busy, busy, busy!
Well it's certainly a frantic weekend as thousands of women, men and children take part in events all over the country! So a MASSIVE good luck to everyone going to: The SunWalk Newcastle, The Great Scottish Run in Glasgow and the Addidas Women's challenges happening in London, Birmingham and Liverpool! Phew!

Update 5th September: just to let everyone know we are still waiting for confirmation of the date of next years event! To make sure that you are told when we will be opening registrations be sure to register your interest and we will send you an email just a soon as we know!
Sponsorship Money
As you can imagine we receive thousands of cheques so it does take a little while to process them all. If you have sent some money to us please give us several weeks before calling...don't worry our fingers are furiously busy entering all your hard earned fundraising! Just look at the amount of money we have raised so far this year! INCREDIBLE and big hug to you all...just keep sending it in and we'll be on our to this years goal!
